The show last night was Killer!!!! It was a youth movment party with two thousand BlackHawk fans!!!! The band was on fire and Dennis Rogers added his touch of class to the evening!!!! Tuesday we close out the mix on seven more new BlackHawk songs and should have the 10th song done by the end of the week. It's a Dave Robbins song called "Wichita" featuring Dave's lead vocals. Wednesday the next seven songs go up on the website!!!!
The New Mixes...
The new BlackHawk album mixes are starting to come in and we'll post them as they arrive. The first two are "I'm Better At Hello" and "Down From The Mountain". There should be a couple more by the end of the week.
Keep Your Ears Open...
The first half of the new BlackHawk album mixes will be posted up on the website this week for our fans. We will finish the record this week and post the second half when it's done...... Keep your ears open for a surprise!!!!!
Radio or No Radio
As far as the shelf life comment of country music artists or any artist for that matter it's all about well written songs, the crafting of a great record on those songs and taking a kick ass show out with new music. Radio or no radio Blackhawk will continue to write and record the best music and we'll take that out and play it with heart for our fans. We'll always be there!!!!!
Van Stephenson Charity Dinner in Medina
Okay Guys
I know it's early BUT this is the year to commit to the BlackHawk musical Pow Wow, Hank and Dave reunion, and Van Stephenson charity dinner in Medina in November. This has been the toughest year in memory but It's time for the Blackhawk nation to thumb it's nose at the economic down turn and drive, fly, or sail into the Twin Cities and make Medina the event of the decade!!
